Synchronization of customers with Voyado
The Omnium-Voyado integration offers various customization options for synchronizing customers with Voyado.
Within Voyado Engage, there is the concept of contact types, distinguishing between Contacts and Members. This is somewhat analogous to the differentiation between regular customers and members of loyalty programs within Omnium. In the default setup this separation is mirrored between Omnium and Voyado, with Private Customers mapped to Voyado Contacts and Customer Club Members to Voyado Members. However, depending on specific use cases, diverse customers may require different behaviors. Hence, the Omnium-Voyado integration facilitates various options for this flow.
Receipts
To leverage Voyado Engage and its segmentation capabilities, a frequently encountered requirement is the export of order receipts. Configuring the export of both order and return receipts from Omnium to Voyado can be accomplished through workflow steps within Omnium. The transaction objects, or receipts, exported to Voyado are lightweight objects containing limited information about the products sold. It is possible to enrich these receipts by exporting product data from Omnium to Voyado.
Promotions
The Omnium-Voyado integration supports the utilization of Promotions, or personalized offers, within Voyado Engage. This integration manages the importing and redemption of coupons generated in Voyado Engage, ensuring that coupons assigned to customers can be used across all sales channels within Omnium. Each discount coupon is valid for a single use.
